How to Choose the Best Water Trampoline?

There is a wide range of water trampolines on the market and when shopping for one there are several things to keep in mind from what features are included to strength and durability, size, and safety features.

Materials

Most water trampolines are made from high-quality, ultra-grade PVC material that can withstand sun and salt exposure, harsh temperatures, and wear-and-tear from water play. Always check the type of material the water trampoline is manufactured from – better materials will have a longer lifespan and better durability. A good quality water trampoline should have a mat constructed from UV-treated and commercial-grade vinyl and galvanized steel springs.

Size

The size of the water trampoline will depend on how many people plan on using it. Water trampolines are larger than water bouncers so they are ideal for groups of people and can support more weight than bouncers, so can be used by both adults and children. Large water trampolines do require a lot of space and are quite heavy and difficult to move around.

Assembly

The most time-consuming part of assembling a water trampoline is inflation and deflation. An air compressor is usually included in the package which makes things much easier. You will need to consider the size of the trampoline and make sure you have enough space to assemble and disassemble it at the end of the summer.

Inflation plays an important role in the quality of the jump. If the water trampoline has an underinflated tube, it may cause the trampoline to sag in the middle, making it difficult to bounce and jump around and have fun. Proper inflations are the key to enjoying the best quality bounce on a water trampoline.

Built-In Features

Most inflatable water trampolines have extra built-in features that offer even more fun, such as ladders, boarding platforms, ramps, slides, and more. They also have additional handles for grabbing onto the water.

Some water trampolines can be used on dry land and usually have thick vinyl bases for protection against the ground. Check with the manufacturer to see if the inflatable water trampoline is suitable for use in dry land.
